Marriage Preparation
All couples seeking marriage in the Church are required to meet with the priest
at least 6 months prior to the wedding.

Marriages and AnnulmentsBecause the Catholic Church takes marriage very seriously, if you decide you would like to become Catholic, we will need to know your situation. If you have been previously divorced and remarried, you will need to meet with Father Rasner to discuss the possibility of having an annulment. It is best to do this sooner rather than later. The process can be lengthy.
If you have been away from the Church for a while and were not married in the Catholic Church... We welcome you back! Please discuss your situation with the priest before receiving the Holy Eucharist.
If you are married, and this is your first marriage for both you and your spouse, and you did not get married in the Church, you will need to have your marriage convalidated, meaning recognized by the Catholic Church.

Witnessing Marriage
Harold and Stella Van Dame were married on June 28, 1952. When asked for the secret to a happy marriage Stella says it is important to be willing to meet each other halfway. Harold says they always talk things out until they come to an agreement.
